SteelOrbis has been informed that the price levels of domestic production medium size rebar in the local Bulgarian market stand at the level of $500/mt ex-works on actual weight basis, excluding VAT, with 30-day deferred payment.

Prices in the local Bulgarian market have decreased compared to last week. It is heard, however, that there are Turkish rebar offers at the price level of $460/mt CFR to Bulgaria, where local market prices have been at higher levels compared to Turkish local market prices in particular. Meanwhile, end-users and traders in Bulgaria think that the price levels in the Bulgarian market are likely to go down further next week since the prices in Bulgaria have been on a downtrend in recent weeks. As a result, it is a matter of much interest how the Bulgarian traders will respond to the offers given by the Turkish producers.
