SteelOrbis has been informed that on February 2 the sales price of Iranian origin A2/A3 grade rebar of 12-25 mm size stood in the Iranian domestic market at the level of $580-610/mt ex-stock Tehran, excluding VAT, for cash payment and immediate shipment.

Prices have decreased by $20-30/mt as compared to last week in the Iranian domestic rebar market. Transaction volume has shown a substantial decline in recent weeks, since both sellers and buyers prefer to wait and see the future direction of the market. Meanwhile, it is thought that there is still room for further price decrease, as local rebar prices are still higher than international market prices.
