Rebar price level in the local Romanian market

SteelOrbis has learned that the domestic traders in Romania has been offering imported 8 mm rebars to the local market at the price level of €900/mt ($1,413/mt) delivered to customer, excluding VAT, on actual weight basis with 30-day deferred payment; meanwhile, they are offering imported 12 mm rebars at the price level of €920/mt ($1,445/mt) delivered to customer with the same terms.

The price for rebar in the local Romanian market stands at higher levels compared with prices in southern European countries.
