Brazilian producers are negotiating rebar for export to South American countries in a price range of $540/mt to $560/mt, against $560/mt to $590/mt last week, both FOB conditions for the CA-50 grade.

In March, ArcelorMittal exported 18,300 mt of rebar at $599/mt, while Gerdau exported 21,500 mt at $490/mt, both FOB conditions and price deals probably closed in January.

With the exception of 100 mt shipped by Gerdau to Jamaica, the rest of the volume of rebar exported from Brazil in March was destined to South American countries.
