Brazilian exporters are negotiating rebar for export at $450/mt, FOB conditions, stable over one month, a local industry source informed SteelOrbis.

A 10 percent increase was expected earlier in March but was not adopted, the source said, adding that a price increase for new export contracts would probably be adopted in April.

In February, most of the Brazilian rebar exports were destined to South American countries, in average at $532/mt, FOB conditions, price deals probably closed in December.
