In a letter to customers Monday, Nucor announced that effective with shipments as of June 1, 2014, transaction prices on all mesh products will increase by $30/nt ($1.50 cwt. or $33/mt).
Sources tell SteelOrbis that “mesh products” include wire mesh and also coiled rebar.
As of press time, no other mills have followed suit.
