Long steel mills in UAE reluctant to purchase billet

Long steel producers in the UAE indicate that they cannot cope with weakening local demand and major mills' low-priced offers, while Turkish and CIS origin billet offers to the region at the price range of $560-580/mt CFR are too high for them. They also indicate that they have been experiencing difficult times amid declining profit margins.
