Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have increased by TRY 10-40/mt ($1-4/mt) today, July 27. As a result, 12 mm rebar prices in the Turkish spot market have settled in the range of TRY 3,500-3,560/mt ($433-440/mt) ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Icdas has increased its rebar prices by TRY 40/mt ($5/mt) to TRY 3,520/mt ($435/mt) ex-works. Most mills in the Marmara region are currently offering rebar at TRY 3,550-3,570/mt ($439-442/mt ex-works.
The rebar price of Izmir Demir Celik (IDC) has remained at TRY 3,520/mt ($435/mt) ex-works, unchanged from last Friday, July 24. Sources report that approximately 10,000 mt of rebar has traded at TRY 3,500/mt ($433/mt) ex-works as of today.
Most mills in Iskenderun have closed their rebar sales for now. Accordingly, local traders have increased their prices by a higher margin compared to other regions due to lack of supply.
