Today, July 6, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have decreased both in the Iskenderun and Karabuk regions by TR 10-20/mt ($2-3/mt) compared to the end of last week. The general range is at TRY 3,360-3,410/mt ($415-421/mt) ex-warehouse depending on the region.
Icdas has decreased its rebar price by TRY 20/mt ($3/mt) to TRY 3,400/mt ($420/mt) ex-works over the past week. Most mills in the Marmara region are currently offering rebar at TRY 3,400-3,430/mt ($420-424/mt) ex-works, unchanged on Turkish lira basis and with just minor changes on US dollar basis. Sources report availability of sizes is an issue, especially in the Marmara region.
Izmir Demir Celik (IDC) has kept its rebar prices at TRY 3,400/mt ($420/mt) ex-works compared to Thursday, July 2. Iskenderun-based mills are expected to open their rebar sales by tomorrow. No fresh rebar sales have heard by the time of publication.
