SteelOrbis has been informed that the local prices for medium size rebar in the Syrian market are currently at SYP 35,000/mt ($758/mt) ex-works on actual weight basis, excluding VAT, for weekly deferred payments.
The rebar prices in the Syrian domestic market continue to surge. The prices in question have increased by SYP 8,000/mt ($173/mt) compared to last week.
