Local and export wire rod prices in Spain

SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that 6.5 mm mesh quality wire rod prices in the Spanish domestic market have decreased by €5/mt ($7/mt) in the past two weeks to €455-460/mt ($619-626/mt) delivered, exclusive of 21 percent VAT.
 
In the meantime, ex-Spain mesh quality wire rod prices are now standing at €435-440/mt ($592-598/mt) FOB, after softening by €5/mt ($7/mt) over the same period.
