Latest situation in Turkish welding quality wire rod market

SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that S1 grade welding quality wire rod prices in the Turkish domestic market have declined by $33/mt over the past two weeks to $410-445/mt, while local offers for SG2 grade welding quality wire rod have also decreased by $33/mt in the same period, softening to $500-520/mt, both ex-works, excluding 18 percent VAT and for October shipment. Market players state that demand is still at medium levels.
