Latest billet price levels in Indonesian market

SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that in the Indonesian market steel billet import offers are standing at about $570-575/mt CFR, with the latest steel billet cargo transaction from China to Indonesia concluded for 5,000 mt at $575/mt CFR.
 
SteelOrbis has heard from market sources that Indonesian rebar and section producer PT. Krakatau Wajatama failed to receive many offers in its steel billet purchase tender opened last week. The company was heard to be negotiating with an Ukrainian producer for 20,000 mt of steel billet for prompt shipment at $575/mt CFR.
