Italian domestic and export wire rod prices decrease

SteelOrbis has learned that domestic producers' local wire rod prices in the Italian market have declined by €10/mt ($11/mt) during the last two weeks. The new price range is €340-350/mt ($371-382/mt) delivered to customer. Local market demand is stable but weak, while there are no signs of a recovery in the short term.

On the export side, demand coming from Algeria is a little below medium levels, with Italian producers' offers now standing at €335/mt ($365/mt) FOB, $10/mt less compared to two weeks ago.
