SteelOrbis has been informed that today, January 27, an Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has increased its official mesh grade wire rod price by $5/mt to $725/mt ex-works. The mill had already raised its wire rod price by $10/mt to $720/mt ex-works in mid-week. The main reasons for the hikes are costlier scrap and currency fluctuations.
