An Iskenderun-based Turkish mill has issued its official rebar price at TRY 27,150/mt ($559/mt) ex-works today, July 24, amid the ongoing currency fluctuations, for an extended delivery period, up TRY 150/mt ($3/mt) compared to the previous day. The mill’s offer price for rebar volumes in excess of a certain level stands at around TRY 26,850/mt ($553/mt) ex-works, SteelOrbis has heard.
The producer has kept its 6.5 mm SAE 1008 grade wire rod price unchanged at $585/mt ex-works, also for an extended delivery period.
The exchange rate is taken as $1 = TRY 40.47 as the mill itself has not indicated any specific exchange rate.
