Demand for Greek rebar in the international markets is still at low levels. Higher global scrap quotations have pushed up Greek rebar mills’ production costs, leading to the upward trend of domestic rebar sales prices. With the support provided by domestic rebar quotations, Greek rebar suppliers have increased their export offers by €10/mt over the past week to €520-530/mt ($588-599/mt) FOB.
