SteelOrbis has been informed that Greek mills are offering rebar to Romania at €710-730/mt CFR Romania on actual weight basis for September/October shipment.

Greek mills have switched their focus on exports due to the current sluggishness of the country's end-user demand. It is heard that this week many export offers have been given to Romania from Greece. However, the Greek mills are keeping local rebar prices at higher levels (€780-800/mt ex-works) than the actual levels as they do not want the domestic prices to slide down.
