It is observed that demand in the local Spanish rebar market has failed to emerge from its sluggishness this week, after improving slightly last week. Market sources state that the slowness of construction activity in Spain has hindered the revival of demand despite better weather conditions.

Additionally, having decreased by €10/mt on the upper end and by €15/mt on the lower end last week, domestic rebar quotations in Spain have fallen further this week, softening by an average of €10/mt to €480-490/mt ($576-588/mt) delivered to customer.
