Domestic rebar prices in Turkey move down

Domestic rebar prices in Turkey have made a downward start to the current week due to lower import scrap quotations and the weakness of demand. Today, Turkish mill Izmir Demir Celik has reduced its 12-32 mm rebar prices by TRY 42/mt to TRY 2,754/mt ($469/mt) ex-works, while Icdas has decreased its 12-32 mm rebar prices by TRY 45/mt to TRY 2,770/mt ($472/mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT.

As of today, June 17, rebar offers in the Turkish spot market are as follows:
