SteelOrbis has been informed by market sources that local wire rod prices in the UAE market are at $590-600/mt delivered to customer. However, ex-China offers were at $555/mt CFR Dubai before the Feast of Sacrifice holiday.
Market players say that local buyers in the UAE are not very interested in concluding purchases at current prices and that they are rather adopting a wait-and-see stance to monitor further market developments.
