As buyers in the local Turkish wire rod market are still only concluding deals in line with their needs, demand in the local Turkish wire rod market has remained at low levels during the past week. Market sources state that domestic wire rod prices which have remained stable week on week may move downwards in the coming days amid the declines recorded in domestic finished steel quotations in Turkey and due to the downward pressure on import scrap prices. Meanwhile, market sources believe that demand in the local Turkish wire rod market may revive slightly after the Feast of Sacrifice holiday in September.
