Brazilian wire rod has new export price

A source from a Brazilian exporter confirmed fresh deals for the export of wire rod, at prices 12 percent higher since December 1.
 
The mesh grade product is now offered for export at $524/mt, while for the drawing grade the price is $605/mt, both FOB conditions.
 
With price deals probably closed in August, mesh grade wire rod was exported during October in average at $454/mt, while drawing grade product was exported at $492/mt, both FOB conditions.
 
Considering both grades, in October Gerdau exported wire rod at an average price of $443/mt, ArcelorMittal at $514/mt and Votorantim at $552/mt, all FOB conditions.
