Market sources state that both local and export rebar prices in Spain have remained stable since last week, with offers still standing at €450-460/mt ($626-639/mt) + 21 percent VAT delivered and at €440-450/mt ($612-626/mt) FOB, respectively.

Meanwhile, Spanish rebar export offers to Algeria are at €460-470/mt ($639-653/mt) CFR. New ex-Spain rebar transactions to Algeria are expected to be concluded at these price levels since the presidential election in the country is over and the domestic political agenda has returned to normal.
