US plate prices tick upward

SteelOrbis has learned that US domestic plate prices have firmed since our last report a week ago. Current prices are trending in the range of $47-$49 cwt. ($1,036-$1,080/mt or $940-$980/nt), FOB mill, against $46-$47 cwt. ($1,014-$1,036/mt or $920-$940/nt), FOB mill, a week ago.
