Turkish coated steel prices have remained unchanged in the past week, while demand has been sluggish. The market is already in holiday mood and trade is not expected to revive until the end of July.
"The market is already in holiday mood and both buyers and sellers consider the current time to be a good opportunity to wait and see the market outlook. They believe demand will remain low in August due to low export possibilities, but that it will start to recover from September. We do not expect to see any major price change at least until August, but we may see small discounts up to $20/mt for real buyers," a producer told SteelOrbis.
