Shagang Group cuts local steel plate prices by $14/mt for April

Jiangsu Province-based Shagang Group, China’s largest private steelmaker, has issued its list prices for steel plate for April this year.    

Accordingly, the company has cut its offer prices for 20 mm x 2,000 mm Q235B steel plate by RMB 100/mt ($14/mt) at RMB 3,800/mt ($530/mt) ex-works.

In March, the company had kept its offer prices for 20 mm x 2,000 mm Q235B steel plate stable at RMB 3,900/mt ($544/mt) ex-works.
