Over the past week, demand in the local Turkish stainless steel market has increased slightly, though prices have remained unchanged. Turkish producers’ prices of 304 grade 2B stainless steel CRC are still at $2,400-2,500/mt ex-works and their prices of 430 grade 2B stainless steel CRC are still standing at $1,400-1,500/mt ex-works, both indicating sideways movement week on week.
According to market sources, domestic stainless steel prices in Turkey are expected to increase by $100/mt during March due to the $135/mt increase in alloy surcharges,
