The last offer of import CRC from China in Brazil was priced at $606/mt, CFR conditions for shipments to a port in the south or southeastern coast of Brazil, with the 1008/SPCC grade as reference, the same price over the last four weeks.
In September, Brazil imported 8,300 mt of CRC, while exporting 7,000 mt of the product.
In the Brazilian domestic market, CRC of the basic commercial grades is currently offered in medium to large volumes by the producers at BRL 4,038/mt ($713/mt) against BRL 3,846/mt two weeks ago, ex-works, no taxes included. The increase reflects higher international prices of the product.
