In the January-June period of the current year, the production of commercial grade rolled steel products of Russian steelmaker Zlatoust Metallurgical Works (ZMZ) increased by 1.5 times compared to the same period of last year, totaling 257,600 mt.
In addition, in the first sixmonths of the year, ZMZ registered a 14.5 percent increase year on year in its production of steel with special surface finish to 7,600 mt and a 154.2 percent rise in its calibrated steel output to 6,100 mt.
In June, ZMZ shipped 48,400 mt of metal products, registering a record monthly level over the past 20 years.
