Zenith Steel Group posts 12.77 percent rise in Jan-Sept operating revenue

Changzhou, Jiangsu Province-based Chinese steelmaker Zenith Iron and Steel Group has announced that in the first three quarters of the current year its operating revenue increased by 12.77 percent year on year to RMB 50.3 billion ($7.98 billion). The steel producer’s total output value for the given period amounted to RMB 43.8 billion ($6.95 billion). Meanwhile, the company’s total operating avenue for this year is expected to reach RMB 70 billion ($11.11 billion).
 
In the first three quarters, Zenith Iron and Steel Group produced 5,580,800 mt of crude steel and 5,276,000 mt of finished steel, up 6.24 percent and 2.9 percent respectively, both year on year. Meanwhile, its pig iron output in the given period reached 5,443,100 mt, up 19.32 percent on year-on-year basis.
