Wuyang Steel exports 16,700 mt of wide plates in May

In May this year, Henan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Wuyang Iron and Steel Company exported a total of 16,700 mt of wide plates. Meanwhile, the year-to-date tonnage of shipbuilding plates ordered by South Korean buyers from the company has already reached approximately 5,000 mt. In order to boost its share in the South Korean market, the company has focused on improving services for customers in that country.

In May, Wuyang Iron and Steel received orders for a total of 4,000 mt of steel plates from the European and US markets.
