Wuxi NewDaZhong increases coated prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai On November 7, 2006, the Jiangsu province-based steel producer Wuxi NewDaZhong released its November ex-factory product prices. The ex-factory price of galvanized coil increased RMB 150/mt ($19), while that of color coated coil increased RMB 150/mt ($19). After the adjustment, the new price of 0.5 mm thick galvanized coil is RMB 6,450/mt ($819) including 17 percent VAT, while that of 1.0 mm thick galvanized coil is RMB 6,000/mt ($761) including 17 percent VAT. The price of 0.4 mm thick color coated coil is RMB 7,450/mt ($945) including 17 percent VAT, while that of 0.47 mm thick color coated coil is RMB 7,050/mt ($895) including 17 percent VAT.
