Wuhan Steel produces new tinplate for food industry

China's Wuhan Steel developed a new type of thin tinplate with low tin content for use in the food industry. According to the reports, Wuhan Steel's new product meets all relevant Japanese standards in terms of corrosion resistance, hardness and mechanical properties. Hubei province has already given approval for the product's use in the food industry. The product will mainly be used in various bottle caps and cans.
