Wuhan Steel announces details of price cut
China's Wuhan Steel announced the details of its ex-factory steel price cuts effective from August. The decrease will be around 10%. According to the company's announcement, hot rolled product prices will drop RMB 600 ($72) per ton. The prices of cold rolled speciality steel products will drop by RMB 500 per ton. Construction steel (Q195, DC01 and SPCC) price will drop by RMB 700. Silicon steel prices will drop around RMB 600 while electric steel strip price will fall RMB 800 per ton.
