WISCO’s steel exports hit 907,800 mt in Jan-Aug period

Wuhan Iron and Steel Group (WISCO) exported 907,800 mt of finished steel during the January-August period this year, up 19.1 percent compared with the corresponding period of last year, achieving a sales revenue of $711 million, up 64.7 percent year on year. As a result, WISCO has already accomplished the 2008 export target which it set at the beginning of the current year.
