WISCO to set up companies in Germany and Japan

SteelOrbis Shanghai On October 11, China's Ministry of Commerce approved Wuhan Iron & Steel Company's (WISCO) bid to establish solely-invested companies in Germany and Japan, which will be mainly concerned with sales, introduction of advanced equipment and technology, and engineering contracts. This indicates that WISCO intends to gradually transform its overseas companies from joint-venture into solely-invested.
