Volzhsky Pipe Plant (Volzhsky), a subsidiary of the Russian pipe producer TMK, has started construction work on its new internal coating line for 530-1420 mm diameter pipes.
The new line will be put into operation in September 2007 and will have a maximum production capacity of 600,000 metric tons of pipes a year.
The installation of the new internal coating line is in line with TMK's Strategic Investment Program for the period up to 2010.
