VISA Industries to establish steel plant in Chattisgarh

According to recent news in the market, VISA Industries is planning to establish a steel plant in Chattisgarh a part of its strategy to be a manufacturer rather than a trader. VISA officials stated that the company is currently looking for land for the project. The size of the steel plant will depend on the allotment of land. The subject project will be the second manufacturing enterprise of VISA in India. The company is setting up a steel plant in Orissa, which will produce 1.5 million tons of special steel products per annum. The company is also planning to invest in mining sector in Australia, South Africa and Indonesia.
