Valin Group inks framework deal with China State Shipbuilding Corp.

Hunan Province-based Chinese steelmakers Hunan Valin LY Steel (Valin LY Steel) and Hunan Valin Xiangtan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd (Valin Xiangtan Steel), both subsidiaries of Hunan Valin Iron & Steel Group Co. (Valin Group), have inked a framework agreement with China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) regarding cooperation in trading of steel and raw materials, in customer service and sharing of information. 

Valin Group has cooperated with CSSC for nine years, while it has sold 2.5 million mt of shipbuilding plate to CSSC during China’s 12th five-year plan period (2011-15). It is believed that the new agreement will deepen cooperation between the two sides.
