US Steel submits amended offer for PHS

Treasury Ministry of Poland has released an announcement that US Steel has submitted an amended offer for the privatisation process of the Polish steel mills PHS. The terms of the offer have not been identified yet. The original bidding took place in April 22, 2003 with US Steel and LNM Holdings. And US Steel has now progressed with two other organizations to the third round of bidding. Treasury Ministry of Poland considers to identfy the winning bidder in approximately two weeks.
