US Steel Kosice opens new sales office in Milan, Italy

U. S. Steel Košice, Slovakia-based subsidiary of the US-based group announced the opening of its sales office in Milan, Italy. The new office will focus on other business opportunities and expand business activities of the steelmaker in Italy. The sales office will be managed by Enrico Caruso, the former head of sales of Italian operations of Essar Steel, Corus and ArcelorMittal.
 
"Opening of this new sales office is another step forward in line with our new business strategy," said Christian Korn, vice president for sales and marketing of U.S. Steel Kosice. He added that the aim of management is to draw customers not only by opening new offices that are geographically close to them, but also by stepping up their communication. "This strategy will help us to understand the needs of our customers and local business conditions and allow us to provide quality steel products" Korn added.
 
US Steel Kosice is an integrated steel mill producing hot rolled coils, cold rolled coils, hot dip galvanized steel, prepainted galvanized steel, tinplate and tubular products.
