US DOC rescinds AD review on flat products from Brazil

On April 27, 2007, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an antidumping duty administrative review for certain hot rolled, flat rolled carbon quality steel products from Brazil, covering the period March 1, 2006, through February 28, 2007. The review was initiated for Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (CSN) and Companhia Siderúrgica Tubarão (CST).
 
Since, Nucor, the party requesting the review, withdrew its request for a review, the DOC has decided to rescind the review with respect to the subject merchandise imported from CSN and CST.
