US DOC: Final results of sunset review on flat products from ten countries

On August 1, 2006, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated the sunset reviews of the antidumping duty orders on certain hot-rolled carbon steel flat products from Argentina, China, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Romania, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, and Ukraine. On the basis of the notices of intent to participate and adequate substantive responses filed on behalf of domestic interested parties and inadequate responses from respondent interested parties, the DOC conducted expedited (120-day) sunset reviews of these orders. As a result of these sunset reviews, the DOC has found that revocation of these AD orders would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at the following weighted-average margins:
