Ukrainian scrap exports down 50.3 percent in Jan-Nov

According to the data released by metal trading enterprise Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Company (UGMK), in the January-November period of 2012 Ukraine's scrap exports decreased by 50.3 percent year on year to 366,500 mt. In November alone, Ukraine did not export scrap, while in November 2011 Ukraine's scrap exports had amounted to 62,900 mt.
 
In January-November last year, Ukrainian imports of scrap decreased by 16.6 percent year on year to 96,900 mt.
