Ukrainian metallurgical firms see losses rise by 87% in Jan-Nov

According to the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine (Ukrstat), in the January-November period of last year the Ukrainian metallurgical industry posted an overall loss of UAH 20.4 billion ($1.266 billion), up 87 percent compared to January-November 2013.

In the January-November period last year, Ukrainian metallurgical companies recorded revenues of UAH 152.9 billion ($9.49 billion), up 16 percent year on year, influenced by currency rate differences.
