Ukrainian investors eager to form joint ventures in Turkey

According market reports, Ukrainian Scientific Industrial Association (UKRKOKS) and Heavy Industry aim to form joint ventures in mining business with Turkish companies, particularly with Erdemir (Eregli Demir ve Celik Fabrikalari), through long term investments and their most developed technologies in coke mining. It is reported that renovation of the coal mines in Turkey are closely monitored by the Association. Besides, it is planning to participate in auctions to be held for the sale of public shares of companies, such as Erdemir. It is believed that economic cooperation with Turkey and immediacy between the two countries have positive effect in achieving above cited plans.
