Erdemir starts trial production at hot rolling mill in Iskenderun

According to the official press release issued by Turkish integrated steelmaker Erdemir Group, the company's 3.5 million mt capacity hot rolling mill - a part of the final phase of the company's investments directed at switching to flat steel production at Iskenderun - commenced its trial production on August 2, 2008.

Within the scope of its transformation and modernization investments, the Group has so far invested $2.078 million in the project in question, as well as in other fields.
