Ukrainian ferroalloy output drops by 16 percent in Jan-Feb

According to the Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers (UkrFA), in January-February this year Ukraine's ferroalloys production decreased by 16 percent compared to the same period last year to 205,900 mt.
 
Accordingly, in the first two months of 2011, Ukraine's ferrosilicomanganese output decreased by 9.5 percent to 150,800 mt, its ferromanganese production went down by 46.6 percent to 26,700 mt, its ferrosilicon output dropped by 6.7 percent to 28,400 mt, all compared to the same period last year.
