Ukraine’s scrap exports down in February

According to the data released by metal trading enterprise Ukrainian Mining and Metallurgical Company (UGMK), in the first two months of the current year, Ukraine's scrap exports increased by 87 percent year on year to 89,600 mt. In February alone, Ukraine's scrap exports decreased by 56 percent compared to January, dropping to 27,400 mt.

In the first two months of the current year, Ukraine's scrap imports decreased by 87 percent compared to January-February 2011, falling to 8,400 mt.
